Since 1974
Led by the Constantini family, Rioplatense has been one of Argentina’s leading meat processing companies for over five decades. We combine deep family tradition with continuous innovation to deliver world-class beef products.

We acquired Swift Armour in Rosario, Santa Fe, and signed an agreement with Campbell Soup Co. to supply raw materials to the United States. -
1981
We began producing hamburgers, marking a milestone in the Argentine meat industry. -
1985
We launched GoodMark, one of Argentina’s most iconic hamburger brands. -
1986
We became McDonald’s exclusive beef supplier in Argentina, consolidating our leadership in the market. -
1995
We sold the GoodMark brand to Unilever, along with our Comalfri distribution center. -
2007
We invested in a modern rendering plant equipped with state-of-the-art technology. -
2010
We carried out a comprehensive renovation of the General Pacheco plant, modernizing every stage of the production process and transforming it into one of the most advanced facilities in Argentina. -
2014
We expanded our capacity with a new 6,000 m² plant dedicated to the processing, packaging, and distribution of portioned meat, supplying more than 110 Carrefour stores in Buenos Aires. -
2019
We began our vertical integration with the acquisition of the first batch of cattle destined for fattening in feedlots, consolidating a production model aimed at guaranteeing reliable supply and superior quality standards for our customers. -
2023
We opened a state-of-the-art smart frozen food warehouse with a capacity of approximately 4,000 tons, significantly improving our logistics efficiency. -
2024
Reinforcing our environmental commitment, we invested US$ 10 million in a new, state-of-the-art wastewater treatment and circular economy plant. -
2025
We incorporated our second own feedlot (La Selmira), consolidating our position as the main livestock owner in Argentina.
